Texas Senate Bill 147 is a piece of legislation that was recently introduced in Texas that would ban citizens from China, North Korea, Iran, and Russia from buying property in the state.
If enacted, this bill would significantly impact the ability of immigrant communities to purchase homes in Texas, particularly Chinese citizens whose immigrant population in Texas is the largest of the four countries being targeted.
